What If - We Wake Up to No Catholic Schools?
As devoted supporters of our faith and its educational mission, your generosity has always been a beacon of hope. However, it is time to reflect on a crucial question: Are our donations truly making a difference, or are they caught in a cycle of unmet promises?
For years, many of us have faithfully supported and donated to Catholic book publishers and similar organizations. These entities have amassed hundreds of millions of dollars from Catholic families, promising to support and enhance our faith-based education. Yet, despite our significant contributions, the reality is stark and sobering.
The Unsettling Reality
Disappearing Schools: In the 1960s, we had around 13,000 Catholic schools educating 5.2 million students. Today, that number has plummeted to about 5,900 schools with only 1.69 million students. Where has the support gone?

Over 70% of Catholic families in the U.S.A. can not afford to send their children to a Catholic school.
Why have we allowed this to happen? -
In the 1960s, there were close to 13,000 Catholic schools and 5.2 million students across the U.S. Today, there are just 1.6 million students attending 5,981 Catholic schools.
When will the school closings stop?
Catechism - Grade 1-8
The Catechism of the Catholic Church is arranged around four pillars or parts:
*The Profession of Faith
*Celebration of the Christian Mystery
*Life in Christ
*Christian Prayer
'Catechism' is the name given to a written work that contains a summary of all the beliefs of the faith that is used as a teaching tool.
